Hoping for an Uncut Pokémon!

Clearly, many fans of the Pokémon animé do not appreciate cut scenes and mis-dubbings by 4Kids Entertainment. Many people believe that 4Kids purposely tries to "Americanize" Pokémon, or make it more appealing to American, and other English speaking countries alike. Also, 4Kids seems to think that fans of the animé just consist of children, when that is not so. People of all ages enjoy Pokémon.

Because of this fact, Mystic Ninetales, a member of our forums, has set up a petition to demand that the English version of Pokémon remain uncut. Please support the cause by signing the petition! ^-_-^ Please sign the 'Stop the editing of Pokémon Petition', by clicking here.

Pokémon Pinball Ruby & Sapphire Released in Japan

Pokémon Pinball Ruby and Sapphire, no doubt, contains Pokémon from the Ruby and Sapphire games. This game is much improved on since the previous Pokémon Pinball games. The game is still the same, where players can play on either of two tables, but there are also some new features. The rare Jiraachi even makes an appearance, however I think you need a special card or something to for that to happen.

The Pokémon Center, located in Japan, is making a special offer for players to recieve one of three e-cards that can be used with the game. The three cards will enable players to see more of the rare monsters, such as Latias, Latios, Rayquaza and Jiraachi, more often. The event started on August 1 at 10:00 and will end on August 31 at 23:59. There are only a set limited amount of 10,000 e-cards to be given away.

And now to go off of the Pokémon subject for a second. The recent lack of updates for our site could only have been for one reason-- fall semester of school has begun. Even with school, we will still try to update as much as possible, but this early start has pushed us back on the site. Check back often please! ^-_-^ Or, visit us in our forum! You will most likely find us hanging out there!

Speculations for Pokémon's Future

Not long after the release of Jiraachi: Seven Nights Star of Hope, the sixth movie, in Japan, there seem to be more rumors about the future of Pokémon. It seems that rumors around the Internet are claiming that there will be a 7th Pokémon movie. This, of course, is unconfirmed at this moment. If there will indeed be a 7th movie, be expecting Pokémon to keep its popularity among it's fans.

If all of this is true, we can expect another season of Pokémon and more video games to follow. ^-_-^!

Jiraachi: Seven Nights Star of Hope/Pokémon Colesseum/
Eon Ticket Tour 2

There's a major update of Pokémon news today! (We've been working on updating our site. ^-_-^!)

First of all, the new Pokémon movie, Jiraachi: Seven Nights Star of Hope is out in movie theaters today (in Japan that is)! We'll be writing a synopsis of this movie soon.

And, Pokémon Channel was released yesterday in Japan. We will be getting more news about this game. Also, more news about Pokémon Colesseum. Trainers will be able to obtain Pokémon that are not available in the new Ruby/Sapphire GBA games. In Pokémon Colesseum, there is a RPG where you will be a character, Super Keeru (Kay-lu) where you are able to go around and steal other trainer's Pokémon! Those Pokémon that are stolen are able to be transferred to your Ruby/Sapphire games!! (We will get a list of available Pokémon.)

Last, but certainly not least, is the US Eon Ticket Tour 2 that will begin today and end on September 1. Click here for a list of participating Toys R Us stores where you can obtain the Eon Ticket. The Eon Ticket will allow trainers to catch Latias (in Sapphire) and Latios (in Ruby). And you also get a coupon for $10 off the E-reader! Stay here for more Pokémon news!!

And just as a reminder, we have a forum! Please come and join!

Jiraachi's a Star! ^-_-^

Since the new Pokémon movie "Jiraachi: Seven Nights Star of Hope" is expected to hit Japanese theaters this month, the Japanese Pokémon Center has extended the sales for Jiraachi merchandise.

There is a special Jiraachi GBA, that of course, will play your GBA games, and they're even selling candy complete in a Jiraachi tin!

There was a complete sell-out on the gold-plated Jiraachi card case, but there are still sales for the GBA SP Jiraachi game case. They also have other Jiraachi merchandise, that the sales will be extended through the month of July.

Once again, all Pokémon fans, you are welcome to join our forums! We are always looking for new members! -_-!!

Pokémon Channel...Again! ^-_-^

The Pokémon Channel game will be coming out in Japan on 18 July 2003 and will be selling for an approximate 5,800 Yen. With many things to do within the game, it is sure to have something for everyone.

Activities such as a quiz with Wobbuffet or a news program with Psyduck. You can also explore various environments such as the forest, mountain, along the coast, and the grassy plains. The environment's weather can also change.

I believe there is also a way to play Pokémon Mini games, or actually view some. Also in the game, players can choose scenes in the game to "paint" themselves, and save it to the game.

Jiraachi can also be found somewhere in the game. Also you can view "virtual trading cards" that you recieve, on your game.

No official release date yet.
